The loves of my life
I am learning everyday the beautiful significance of the words 'Come as you are'. I am constantly overwhelmed by the honesty and unconditional love that surrounds these words. Come as you are. It's that simple. I am taking on the daunting task of discovering that all I can be is me. Thats all I am capable of being. And the big guy upstairs is perfectly okay with that. Why? Because thats exactly who he made me to be!

BWAHAHAHA...I love that "not the brightest flower in the bunch." Consider it stolen :)! Actually, I'm thinking we could probably put together a whole bouquet of dull flowers because this particular thing seems to have happened A LOT this past week. On Friday morning, I heard of one kid stuck to the pole by his tongue and, to take the movie one step farther, the kid's parent called the FIRE DEPARTMENT. Yes, I said the FIRE DEPARTMENT...in, like, New York! Who proceeded to drive the big fire truck 4 blocks to pour some hot water on the tongue/pole, thus, getting it unstuck. I guess there was a language barrier, so giving phone instructions wouldn't work. AYE-YI-YI!!! HAHA!
And for your information, Little Missy, go take a look at my posts for November 24-26; they're long and there are a few for each day, so scroll all the way thru. And also September 4 and August 14. All under 2007. Although I do realize you have things to do other than peruse my blog--please, say it isn't so! HA!--you will be rewarded by seeing my 51-year-old mug! And grandkids, and more cats, and more beautiful, beautiful scenery from my happy place. So, when you get a chance...go forth. Just cut me some slack on the pic of me; it took a lot of courage to post it...hehehe!
